Journey through Lake Titicaca using a speed motor boat, definitively a comfortable way to see the lake in a day trip and as well get a glimpse of the Peruvian rural life. This trip will give you the chance to explore of a Cultural encounter with the South section of Taquile Island; there the locals will display some of their dances and textiles. Uros Floating Islands. - On the national Reserve of Lake Titicaca, where you will observe artificial reed platforms inhabited by this ancient ethnic group. Some people think them artificial and acting for tourists but that is an appearance, their culture is authentic, and the history of why they live amongst the reeds is fascinating.

Taquile Island, A place where the time has stand. There you will see an indigenous community that conserves some original Inca social traditions and organizations. The isolation has kept them almost untouched by the modern world. This enchanting Island with long shape is full of Inca terraces and some pre-Inca remains on its top.

This excursion begins at 7:00 am with transfer from your hotel to the port. Then by speed motor boat, that will make of this an enjoyable journey (35 feet long, comfortable seats, WC, 02 last generation marine engines) we visit the Uros reed floating Islands and marvel by seeing and entire community living on artificial floating platforms, Stepping on them feels very much like a water bed (but it is quite safe). There we see reed houses, look out reed towers, they do have schools and more, meet its friendly inhabitants .Uro people are descendents of one of the oldest South American groups. Rides on traditional reed boats can be arranged. We visit two of the 30 islands before continuing on to Taquile Island By speed motor boat.

Enjoy a relaxed navigation of 1 hour 15 minutes ( from the floating islands onto Taquile Island) , At arrival we have the chance to enjoy the spectacular views offered by Lake Titicaca, get to this unique place, by the south section of the island ( 10:15 am) , the less visited zone of Taquile Island . Have at least 3 ½ hours to explore this paradise, And hike for 30 minutes to reach the place chosen for a preformed exhibition of dances and some cultural traditional expressions, . Lunch at a local restaurant. Later at 1:30 pm hike for about an hour in direction to the main port, and cover approximately 500 stairs down to the dock. By 2:30pm depart Taquile onto Puno, after 1 hour 30 minutes motor boat ride arrival to Puno (4:00 pm.) On arrival at Puno city we transfer you to your hotel.
