Classic Tours We at Edgar Adventures do various tours to the islands of Lake Titicaca. Please find details of our most popular Classic tours; the 2day/1 night tour of the Uros, Amantani and Taquile, and the 1day tour of Uros and Taquile. I've also added a brief description of the tour we offer to the Sillustani ruins. Although not a lake trip, it may be of interest to you.

Reservations are easy enough to do. We accept bookings via e-mails, and payment would be on arrival (we pre-book any service you require and you simply reimburse us here at our offices in Puno). No deposit is required. (Basically, you send us a mail here confirming which tour you'd like to take, pay the money when you get here, and it's done!)

Half Day: SILLUSTANI PRE - INCA CEMETERY + NATIVE HOUSE

Tour description: HALF DAY – SILLUSTANI PRE-INCAN CEMETERY + NATIVE HOUSE (Classic tour)

Pick up from your hotel in Puno at 2pm.it might take a while as we collect other travelers, then by bus we travel through the Altiplano "the High Plains" on the way we observe the typical flora and farming scenes. On arrival at the Sillustani peninsula, we take a guided tour which tells us about the local beliefs in the afterlife whilst observing the huge funerary towers known as “Chullpas” Sillustani is a Peninsula surrounded by the Umayo lagoon that gives the area and extraordinary contrast of colors and views. Then return to Puno, visiting a typical local household on the way. (3 1/2 hours round trip)
